Spring 2013
The Spring 2013 issue's theme is 'Winter's Discontent' and looks at recurring themes seen in films that use this harshest of season's as a backdrop or key story device. Along with the roundup of regular sections, features include an interview with film critic and self-confessed Batfan Kim Newman, a look at the Rosebud Sled in Citizen Kane as an evocative cinematic object, a location focus on Reykjavik and 1000 words on the lasting impact of DW Griffith's groundbreaking 1920 film Way Down East.
